• 7 field seasons in Alaska doing geologic mapping and field analysis of aeromagnetic maps for mineral resource investigations.
• Currently involved in exploration for coal-bed methane in Alaska using high-resolution aeromagnetic and gravity data.
• Created the Realized Virtual Reality Vehicle^tm,sm, an integrated GIS-GPS system used to take geospatial data to the field for analysis and interpretation. Implemented in a rugged laptop computer that can be carried in a helicopter, on foot, or in any vehicle. Used on a glacial geomorphology expedition in Mongolia in 2000.
• I believe that the "proof is in the pudding". The true value of geospatial data analysis is to provide hypotheses and maps to be tested in the field by geologic mapping.
